LaSalle Network is hiring a Part-Time Senior Accountant for a growing organization in Hillside!  This is a part-time, onsite opportunity ideal for an experienced accounting professional seeking a flexible schedule while remaining hands-on in a dynamic accounting environment. The organization is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Accountant who can independently manage key accounting functions, support month-end close activities, and provide financial reporting expertise.

What's the job?

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Review and maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Partner with external auditors and assist with audit requests
• Support process improvement initiatives and special accounting projects

What's needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work onsite in Hillside, IL for 24–30 hours per week
