You’ll represent a multi‑brand portfolio—including commercial ice machines, super‑automatic coffee equipment, beverage dispensers, water‑filtration solutions, and related parts—while building lasting partnerships with dealers, contractors, and end‑users.
What You’ll Do
Develop & execute territory‑wide sales strategies to capture market share and maximize revenue.
Cultivate and expand relationships with existing dealer, contractor, and end‑user accounts.
Prospect new accounts across verticals such as hospitality, education, healthcare, convenience retail, and commercial foodservice.
Research market trends, locate key decision‑makers, and deliver customized equipment solutions.
Promote brand awareness and Baker Distributing Company’s wholesale programs throughout the territory.
Collaborate with quoting, order‑fulfillment, and post‑sale support teams to ensure accurate proposals, on‑time deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.
Represent the company at dealer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Solve problems proactively, resolve customer issues promptly, and continuously improve processes.
Who You Are
Minimum 2 years B2B outside‑sales experience (preferably in refrigeration/food‑service).
Proven track record in sales & marketing of wholesale equipment and parts.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage time and territory independently.
Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned region (occasional overnight trips).
Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM/sales‑tracking systems, and data‑driven decision making.
