Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + performance-based incentives

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on position ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a guest-focused environment and is excited to work closely with the Managing Partners to drive operational excellence and business growth.

A strong background in private events and catering operations is highly preferred, as this role plays a key part in expanding these important revenue channels.

What You’ll Do Leadership & Operations
  • Support the Managing Partners in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations.
  • Lead front-of-house service to ensure an exceptional and consistent guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Maintain and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Private Events & Catering (Major Plus)
  • Collaborate with the Managing Partners to grow private dining and catering sales.
  • Manage event inquiries, site tours, and client relationships.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with culinary and operations teams for flawless event execution.
  • Assist in developing event packages, proposals, and community partnerships.
  • Utilize platforms such as Tripleseat or similar systems to track and manage leads.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Assist with labor management, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to revenue growth strategies.
  • Support inventory management and operational efficiency.
  • Help drive weekday traffic and community engagement initiatives.
Who You Are
  • 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in an upscale or high-volume environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience with private events and catering is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen with an understanding of labor and cost controls.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Toast, Resy, Tripleseat, or similar platforms.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
