The position is located in the Sacramento Headquarter Office. Multiple positions may be available.

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration’s (CDTFA) Human Resources Bureau has an Analyst II position available in the Workforce Planning Unit. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services assignments. The incumbent will serve as a Project Coordinator for various projects in support of enrichment and engagement efforts for CDTFA. Projects may include Engagement Program, Mentoring Program, Recognition Program, Wellness Program, EAP Newsletter, or Workforce and Succession Program. The Analyst II will independently develop and prepare written reports; review and analyze programs; research complex laws, rules, and regulations; and prepare presentations as requested by management. The incumbent will interact with all levels of CDTFA management and team members to meet workload needs and will serve as the lead person responsible for providing guidance and oversight of projects having department-wide impact.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, which may include overnight.
