Job Title : Technical Writer

Duration : Contract

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy
• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation
• Maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guides
• Review and update existing documentation to ensure consistency and relevance
• Create process documentation, workflow diagrams, and release notes
• Ensure documentation is aligned with product updates and releases
• Manage documentation repositories and version control systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer with strong documentation experience
• Experience writing technical documents such as APIs, system architecture, and user manuals
• Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap Flare, or similar)
• Basic understanding of software development concepts (SDLC, APIs, databases)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of markup languages (Markdown, HTML, XML)
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Background in IT, software engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience creating diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
• Exposure to API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI
• Understanding of UX writing principles
