Job Description

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supercast powers premium subscriptions for the world’s top podcasts and creators. We help creators like Huberman Lab, This American Life, Peter Attia, and My Favorite Murder build direct relationships with their audiences and generate recurring revenue through exclusive content and community.

Following our recent acquisition by Red Seat Ventures (a Fox Corp. company), Supercast is entering a new phase of product investment and expansion. Building on our success with podcast subscriptions, we’re evaluating a broader toolkit for podcast-first creators, as well as new ways for creators to engage and monetize their audiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for our first full-time Product Designer, reporting to the CEO, to help shape this next chapter. You’ll work closely with the Product Lead and Engineering team to design the experiences used by thousands of creators and hundreds of thousands of paying subscribers. Your work will define how creators launch, grow, and run subscription businesses on Supercast and how fans discover and engage with the content they love.

We believe the next generation of media companies will be creator-led, and our mission is to build the operating system for creator-led media businesses.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Design the creator and subscriber experiences across the Supercast platform including the creator dashboard, subscriber interface, web application, mobile experiences, and supercast.com.

  • Own the UX, look, feel, and interactions of Supercast as the platform evolves and new capabilities are introduced.

  • Create the design system, UI designs, interaction flows, and prototypes that help the team move quickly from concept to shipped product.

  • Level up existing product flows to make launching and managing memberships simpler and more intuitive for creators.

  • Design entirely new product capabilities from scratch as Supercast expands into areas like mobile apps, livestreaming, community features, and other creator tools.

  • Partner closely with the Product Manager and Engineering team to translate product ideas into thoughtful user experiences, including refining UI and HTML/CSS details.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Product design experience. 4+ years designing digital products, ideally in SaaS, consumer platforms, or creator tools.

  • Strong UX intuition. You’re able to simplify complex workflows and design experiences that feel intuitive and delightful.

  • Customer empathy. You care deeply about understanding how creators and subscribers behave and design solutions that solve real user problems.

  • Design systems thinking. You’ve built and maintained Figma design systems before and lead with patterns, hierarchies and components.

  • Collaboration. You enjoy working efficiently with product managers and engineers to turn ideas into shipped product.

  • Craft. You sweat the details of UI, interaction design, and visual polish, including using AI thoughtfully in your design workflow

  • Front-end awareness. Comfort working with HTML/CSS and collaborating closely with engineers on implementation (we’re a Ruby on Rails shop using Tailwind).

  • Passion for the creator economy. You’re excited about building tools that empower creators to build sustainable businesses with their audiences.

We’re especially interested in candidates who have built products used by creators, media companies, or subscription businesses.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

  • A delightful creator and subscriber experience.

  • Successful design and launch of new product capabilities as Supercast expands beyond subscriptions.

  • Strong collaboration with Product and Engineering to ship thoughtful, high-quality features quickly.

  • A cohesive and evolving design system that helps us collaborate and build efficiently.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING AT SUPERCAST

  • You’ll be directly shaping how podcast creators build sustainable businesses with their audiences, working directly with some of the most influential voices in podcasting.

  • Following our acquisition by Red Seat Ventures (a Fox Corp. company), we’re investing heavily in product and expanding the platform to support the next generation of creator tools.

  • You’ll join a tight-knit, ambitious team building what we believe will become the operating system for podcast-first creator businesses.

  • Good ideas get shipped quickly. You’ll have real ownership over what gets built.

  • We’re a remote-first company with most team members across North America (your primary work window should be Pacific - Eastern Time).

Pursuant to local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is as listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, vacation/paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Toronto, Canada $108,000.00 - 135,000.00 CAD
