Job Title: Master Jeweler (Part-Time)

Company: Family-Owned Local Jewelry Store

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Master Jeweler to join our team on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week) . Our store is a long-established, family-owned business that takes pride in quality craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and custom jewelry design. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at the bench and comfortable performing a wide range of repair and custom jewelry services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of jewelry repairs , including ring sizing, soldering, rebuilding prongs, and restoration work
• Execute custom jewelry fabrication and modifications
• Stone setting for various stone shapes and styles
• Utilize laser welding/laser repair equipment for delicate and precision work
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Communicate with staff regarding repair timelines and custom projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Master Jeweler or Senior Bench Jeweler
• Proficiency in bench repairs, stone setting, and custom fabrication
• Experience with wax carving/modeling and casting processes
• Experience using laser welding equipment preferred
• Strong problem-solving ability and precision craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage repair workload efficiently

Schedule:

• Part-time: 1–2 days per week
• Store hours are Wednesday through Saturday ; specific workdays are flexible

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill level .
