Industrial Electrician/ Electrical Fitter
Assignment Duration: 5 months with potential to become temp-to-hire for the right candidate
Location:  Houston, TX 77073 (IAH area)
Pay: $25-$32/ hour
LOCAL JOB ONLY-NO PER DIEM
Shift: M-F 7am-4pm (40-50 Hours per week)

Seeking electrical fabricators experienced in assembling, wiring, and installing industrial control systems, switchgear, and power distribution components. This position is in a shop environment. Duties

• Perform integration tasks related to the installation of cabling and equipment.
• Perform panel wiring
• Perform services including, but not limited to, the installation of equipment and components, tray, raceways, cable and wire, grounding and bonding and terminations.
• E-House equipment installation
• Cable running
• Metal fabrication (cutting/drilling/tapping)
• Fit and assemble electrical components
• Test systems, equipment and components using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Follow directions from Journeymen, Leads and Supervisors.
• Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings.
• Ensure quality by following work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
• Ensure work areas remain clean and well organized.
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Must provide your own basic hand tools
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics
• 2-3 years' experience in the field
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the shop daily.
