  • Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices to support process control and monitoring.
  • Ensure all electrical systems and installations operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable industrial electrical codes.
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to cut, measure, bend, and install electrical raceways, wiring, and related components.
  • Train, lead, and develop crews of top helpers, providing guidance on best practices, safety, and code-compliant installation methods.
  • Focus exclusively on industrial electrical work, avoiding commercial and residential scopes to maintain industrial specialization.
Essential Skills
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Licensed Industrial Electrician.
  • Industrial certification at the State, National, or Municipal level.
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 industrial electrical code.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Hands-on experience installing and maintaining industrial switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, and control panels.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical motors, variable speed drives, generators, and industrial hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Ability to install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
  • Comfort working exclusively in industrial settings, with no commercial or residential focus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop crews of helpers in an industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail when working from blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
  • Commitment to electrical safety and adherence to NFPA 70 and other applicable standards.
  • Ability to work overtime, including some Fridays and Saturdays, especially during busy seasons.
  • Preference for candidates whose experience is primarily or exclusively industrial rather than commercial or residential.
Why Work Here?

Join a stable, family-owned organization that invests in long-term growth and modern facilities. The company offers a strong benefits package, including a high percentage of medical premiums paid and an IRA with a company match, supporting both health and retirement goals. Recent large government contract awards provide long-term project stability and consistent work. You will report to the same facility each day, reducing travel and jobsite variability, and work in a highly organized environment where safety and planning are prioritized. The company’s substantial investment in a new, expansive assembly shop reflects a commitment to providing the tools, space, and infrastructure needed to do high-quality work.

Work Environment

Work takes place in a large, well-organized fabrication and assembly facility that is non-climate controlled but maintained in a clean and orderly condition. The environment centers on industrial assembly and electrical work rather than field-based or rotating jobsites, so you go to the same location every day. The facility includes a 100,000 square foot assembly shop opened in late 2022, designed to support large-scale industrial projects. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Friday, with overtime on Saturdays and additional hours during busy seasons, reaching up to approximately 65–70 hours per week when needed. Work involves extensive use of power and hand tools for cutting, measuring, bending, and installing conduit and wiring in an industrial setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and organization.
