As a Game Designer at generalwebers, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing game mechanics, levels, and features. You will collaborate with a team of developers, artists, and producers to bring your ideas to life and ensure a high-quality gaming experience for our players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and pitch game concepts, mechanics, and features
- Create detailed design documents and wireframes
- Collaborate with developers to implement game mechanics and features
- Design levels and puzzles that are challenging and engaging
- Conduct playtesting and gather feedback to improve game design
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new game design techniques
- Work closely with artists to ensure game design and art style are cohesive
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide constructive feedback
- Meet project deadlines and milestones
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in game design
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Proficient in game design software such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of different game genres
- Experience with level design and scripting is a plus
